Sika® Aktivator 100 is a solvent-based colourless adhesion promoter for non-porous substrates.

Reacts with moisture and deposits active groups on the substrate, these groups act as a link between substrates and primers or sealants/adhesives.
Sika® Aktivator 100 is specifically formulated for the treatment of bond faces prior to application of Sika’s elastic adhesives and sealants.

Areas of Application:

Sika® Aktivator 100 is used to improve adhesion on substrates such as float glass, the cut face of old polyurethane adhesives and paints. This activator is also suitable to enhance the
adhesion of other Sika sealants and adhesives on non-porous substrates.

Contains solvent which may dull the surface finish of some freshly applied paints.

Seek manufacturer’s advice and perform tests on original substrates before using Sika® Aktivator 100 on materials prone to stress cracking.
